Your body is a roadmap to healing

When you encounter physical symptoms, there is always a mental/emotional “fear” or “tension” or “stress” at the root of it. Once the root is released, the symptoms go away. They go away for good and do not come back.

The body is your road map to healing because the body is the subconscious. It faithfully reflects your thoughts, attitudes and moods in every cell, muscle and organ. It communicates in the form of bodily sensations, or “feelings”.

You can learn to release the thoughts behind symptoms so symptoms can go away for good and never come back. How to do it? You become aware of your bodily sensations and release them one at a time. Stories may come that remind you of the moment you contracted and held the fear in your body. Let the stories come and know that you are safe here and now and the past can touch you not.

You’re only as sick as your secrets… We humans seem to think that if we just ignore fear and pain, they will go away, but unfortunately, that’s not how it works, for fear and pain thrive in darkness, for they cannot tolerate light. Give them attention (light) and much like the Wicked Witch of the West, dissolved in water, light will begin to dissolve all fear and pain.

Spirit is the healer. Did you know that the word spirit means breath? Yes, it’s true. You have, built-in, everything you need to heal yourself.

In the past, when you experienced fear and held your breath, tension got stuck in your body. But now, when you give uncomfortable bodily sensations all of your attention — knowing you are safe here and now — they disappear. Bring a candle to the darkness and cobwebs are no longer ghosts.

Every effective healing modality moves you from fear to love. It helps you breathe again.
